On April 1, 2016, Virginia Clair began her trek across the southern United States beginning in Jacksonville, Florida. Three months later, she ended in Dallas, Texas.

On April 1, 2017, Virginia will walk again, this time for 30 days, along the coast of sunny California. Why? Because she can.

 

This is not a pilgrimage but a bucket list to leave no regrets behind while discovering what it will look like and smell like to walk across the United States. The intended outcome is the transformation of social expectations for the average 65 year old woman. Can she be brave? Possible. It is with hope that awareness will be brought and people at any age will discover what scares them and do it.
